This corset was originally supposed to be in PVC over canvas, but I got so frustrated with the PVC I ripped all of it off the thing, and left it in canvas.

The chains are attached at three points, each with a chainmail link. The points where the corset is pierced to allow the link to pass though have been nailpolished & overcast with stitching.

The pattern for this piece called for a front opening, but I was out of busks, and I didn't want it to lace with those chains in the way, so I omitted the front opening. (I also omitted the front boning, but that was laziness on my part, not design.)
