I made this from the pattern in the Dover book, Easy to make Godey Doll by G. P. Jones. I haven't made any of the clothes yet (and probaby won't), but I DO intend to make her a full wardrobe of historical and gothy clothes. The first piece will probably be either a wheel farthingdale (I have a lot of really short boning I'm not using for anything) or an 18th century corset.

It'll probably be less expensive to work out clothing designs on her than on myself, though the "on paper" method is always the cheapest. After I get the bugs out, I can transfer everything over to people-sized stuff.

And if I ever get REALLY ambitious, I want to enlarge the pattern enough to make a doll as tall as me. I can pad the hell out of her belly until she approaches my size, and it'll make an amusing dress form.
